Dec 21: INTERNATIONAL ARRIVAL IN LIMA
Upon Arrival in Lima, reception at the airport by our representative and transfer to the hotel.
During the ride we will tell you about Lima and Peru and go through your itinerary day by day. We will also answer any question you may have.
Dec 22: LIMA
After breakfast, a free day to explore Lima at your leisure. Alternatively you have the choice of an optional extra guided tour of Lima, (additional price per person US$30).
The details of the optional extra tour are as foloows: We will pick you up for a city tour of colonial Lima, the world heritage city. Tour in an air conditioned bus with an English speaking guide. The tour will include a visit to the Cathedral, Main Square and the San Francisco Convent with its eerie Catacombs housing thousands of skeletons and bones. Return back to your hotel. Free afternoon to explore Lima at leisure.
Dec 23: LIMA - CUSCO
Breakfast in your hotel.
Transfer to the airport for the flight to Cuzco, the ancient Inca capital. After the one hour flight, reception and transfer to the selected hotel. Lunch on your own. In the afternoon, we will visit the City of Cuzco on a guided sightseeing tour visiting the Main Square, the Temple of the Sun or Koricancha. Then, we drive out of the City to visit the Inca sites of Kenko, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the impressive Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, strategically built on a hill overlooking Cusco, famous for its enormous carved stones, some of them standing over 9m/30 ft high and weighing over 130 tons. Transfer to your hotel. No meals included.
Dec 24: Machu PicchuÂ

The day starts with an early morning transfer to Cuzco train station for a 3 ½ hours journey to the famous Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu, also known as "The Lost City of the Incas" one of the best known examples of surviving Inca architecture. Arrive at Aguas Calientes Station followed by a 30-minute bus drive, climbing 6km of winding road, to the marvellous Citadel. Upon arrival, you will participate in a guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, the Temple of the Sun, the Sacred Sun Dial, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and various burial grounds. In the afternoon you will be transferred to the hotel in Aguas Calientes, the nearest village just 25 minutes from Machupicchu by bus. Where we will also be able to enjoy the medicinal thermal pools. Special Christmas dinner.
Dec 25: Machu Picchu: Aguas Calientes - CUSCO
Breakfast in your hotel.
Opportunity to return to Machu Picchu for a more personal appreciation of the Eighth wonder of the world. Christmas lunch at the Sanctuary Lodge Hotel located in front of Machu Picchu.
You will have time to perform some of the following activities:
1. Visit the Citadel of Machu Picchu for the second time.(not included in the overall tour price)
2. For the most adventurous people, we suggest to go up the Huayna Picchu (if it is not raining) from where you can appreciate the immensity of Machu Picchu, even more amazing being high and distant. Arriving at the top takes about two hours and a half and it must be before 13:00 hours. It is necessary to register in a office at the beginning of the trail. Lunch on your own. Return in the afternoon by train to Cuzco and transfer to the selected hotel.
Dec 26: CUSCO - LIMA
Breakfast in your hotel.
Transfer to the airport and assistance on your departure.
