Day 01: Lima - Cuzco: Sightseeing tour and visit to nearby ruins
Upon Arrival in Cuzco, reception at the airport by our representative and transfer by private car to the hotel. And there you will receive a briefing on your tour; vouchers covering all the services included in your tour and additional information on the organisation of your trip.
In the afternoon, we will visit the City of Cusco on a guided sightseeing tour visiting the Main Square, the Temple of the Sun or Koricancha. Then, we drive out of the City to visit the Inca sites of Kenko, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the impressive Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, strategically built on a hill overlooking Cusco, famous for its enormous carved stones, some of them standing over 9m/30 ft high and weighing over 130 tons. Transfer to your hostel. No meals included.
Day 02: Sacred Valley of the Inkas
Breakfast in your hotel.
Full day guided excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, have the opportunity to learn about the customs of its people and enjoy shopping in the picturesque traditional market of Pisac. Buffet lunch in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. In the afternoon, we pass through Calca and Urubamba on the way to the fortress of Ollantaytambo, built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasion from the tribes of the forest, then visit Chinchero to get an idea of how it was this military, religious and administrative center during the inca empire. Return to Cusco and transfer to your hotel. Dinner on your own.
Day 03: Machu Picchu - Cuzco

The day starts with an early morning transfer to Cuzco train station for a 3 ½ hours journey to the famous Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu, also known as "The Lost City of the Incas" one of the best known examples of surviving Inca architecture. Arrive at Aguas Calientes Station followed by a 30-minute bus drive, climbing 6km of winding road, to the marvellous Citadel. Upon arrival, you will participate in a guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, the Temple of the Sun, the Sacred Sun Dial, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and various burial grounds. After the tour you'll have time to stroll around the Archaeological Site at your leisure. Late afternoon return to Cusco. Transfer to your hostel. Lunch and dinner on your own.
Day 04: Cuzco - Lima
Breakfast in your hotel.
Transfer to the airport and assistance on your departure.
